Di Pacci — Dual-Boiler Flow-Control Espresso MachineLelit Bianca V3 PL162T Coffee Machine
The Lelit Bianca V3 is a dual-boiler E61 machine with a flow-control paddle on the group, so you can shape every shot by hand.
The Lelit Bianca V3 PL162T pairs a 0.8 litre coffee boiler with a 1.5 litre steam boiler, both stainless steel and each under its own PID, so you brew and steam at the same time at temperatures you set. A rotary pump feeds an E61 group fitted with Lelit's flow-control paddle, and it runs from a standard 10 amp power point.
What sets the Bianca apart from other dual boilers is that paddle: open it slowly for a gentle pre-infusion, then ramp up and taper off pressure through the shot while watching the gauge. The LCC display sets boiler temperatures, pre-infusion and stand-by, and the 2.5 litre tank can sit on three sides of the machine or be swapped for a mains water connection. Lelit has built espresso machines in Castegnato, Brescia since 1986, and Di Pacci runs an authorised Lelit service workshop in Australia.

How Flow Control Changes the Shot
Most espresso machines push water through the coffee at one fixed pressure. The Bianca's paddle sits between the pump and the group, so you control how fast water reaches the puck at every moment of the shot.
- Start with the paddle mostly closed to wet the puck gently at low pressure.
- Open it to bring pressure up once the coffee starts to drip, watching the gauge.
- Ease it back towards the end of the shot to reduce harshness from the last of the extraction.
Light roasts gain sweetness and clarity, and darker blends can be pulled softer, which is why the Bianca is a favourite of people who want to experiment.

Bianca V3 on Its Own vs Bianca Bundles
The Bianca needs a capable grinder. If you don't have one yet, a bundle saves putting the pair together yourself.

Di Pacci recommendation: Buy the machine on its own if you already own a quality single-dose grinder. Otherwise see the Bianca + Niche Zero bundle or the Bianca + Varia VS6 bundle. Don't bother with the Bianca at all if you just want quick milk drinks with no tinkering; the Lelit Mara X V2 is simpler and cheaper.

Lelit Bianca V3 PL162T Coffee Machine — Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Lelit Bianca V3 have a rotary pump?
Yes. The Bianca V3 uses a rotary pump, which is quieter than a vibration pump and suits direct mains plumbing.
What boilers does the Lelit Bianca V3 have?
Two stainless steel boilers: 0.8 litres for coffee and 1.5 litres for steam, each with its own PID.
Does the Lelit Bianca need a special power point?
No. It is rated at 1400 W and runs on a standard 10 amp Australian power point.
Can I plumb in the Lelit Bianca V3?
Yes. It can be connected to mains water, or you can use the 2.5 litre tank on either side or the back. Plumbed installation is available in Sydney metro.
What does the Bianca flow-control paddle do?
It adjusts how fast water reaches the coffee during the shot, letting you pre-infuse gently and then raise or taper pressure by hand.
Is the Lelit Bianca good for beginners?
It can be, but flow profiling has a learning curve. If you want a simpler start, the Lelit Anna PL41 or Mara X V2 are easier. Call (02) 9758 0760 and we can talk it through.
