Di Pacci — Dual-Boiler E61 PID Espresso Machine

Bellezza Francesca Dual Boiler Coffee Machine

The Bellezza Francesca puts two insulated stainless boilers, an E61 group and dual PID into a 286 mm-wide polished steel body.

The Bellezza Francesca is a dual boiler E61 espresso machine with a 1.0 litre brew boiler and a 1.0 litre steam boiler, each insulated and each with its own PID-controlled temperature. You can pull a shot and steam milk at the same time, set the brew temperature to suit the roast, and watch pump and steam pressure on two large gauges.

Where many dual boilers look like lab equipment, the Francesca is built around a polished stainless body and an external glass water tank, with a built-in shot timer, adjustable timed pre-infusion and a programmable ECO mode. It runs on a standard 10 amp power point, and Di Pacci offers an optional flow control kit if you want to profile your shots later.

Key Features of the Bellezza Francesca

🔥 Brew and steam at once

Separate 1.0 L brew and steam boilers mean you never wait between pulling a shot and texturing milk.

🌡️ PID on both boilers

Set brew and steam temperatures independently, so a light roast and a dark blend can each get the temperature they need.

☕ Classic E61 group

The 58 mm E61 group is a proven, widely serviced design, and every accessory made for 58 mm portafilters fits.

⏱️ Built-in shot timer

The built-in timer shows every shot's time, so you can dial in a recipe without a phone or scale timer.

🎛️ Adjustable pre-infusion

A timed pre-infusion wets the puck gently before full pressure, which helps reduce channelling on finer grinds.

🌿 Programmable ECO mode

Schedule the machine to drop into a low-power state, with the elements switching off until you need them again.

Why Two Boilers Change Your Mornings

A single boiler has to switch between brewing and steaming temperatures, and a heat exchanger ties brew temperature to the steam boiler. The Francesca keeps the two jobs completely separate, each with its own PID.

  • The brew boiler holds the temperature you set for espresso, independently of how much steam you use.
  • The steam boiler stays at steaming pressure, so a second milk jug is ready straight after the first.
  • Both boilers are insulated stainless steel, which helps them hold temperature and reduces wasted energy between shots.

In practice that means two flat whites back to back without pausing, and a shot that tastes the same on the third coffee as on the first.

Bellezza Francesca vs ACS Minima

Both are compact, 10 amp, dual boiler E61 machines around the same price. They split on boiler sizes and features.

Feature Bellezza Francesca ACS Minima
Boilers 1.0 L brew / 1.0 L steam 0.8 L brew / 2.3 L steam
Temperature control PID on both boilers PID on both boilers
Pre-infusion Adjustable, timed None (relies on E61 design)
Water tank Approx. 1.8 L external glass 2.6 L removable
Weight Approx. 28 kg Approx. 18 kg

Di Pacci recommendation: Choose the Francesca if adjustable pre-infusion, a shot timer and the polished, glass-tank look matter to you. Don't bother with it if you mostly make several milk drinks in a row for a crowd; the ACS Minima's 2.3 L steam boiler is the better fit there.

Best Grinders for the Bellezza Francesca

A dual boiler machine shows up every weakness in the grind, so budget for a grinder that can make fine, repeatable adjustments.

Grinder Burr Why it pairs well
Niche Zero 63 mm conical Single-dose with near-zero retention, so every shot uses fresh grounds
Eureka Mignon Specialita 55 55 mm flat Quiet, stepless and compact enough to sit beside the Francesca
Turin DF64 Gen 2 64 mm flat Single-dose flat burr that rewards the Francesca's temperature control with lighter roasts

Who This Machine Is For

✓ Ideal if you:
  • Make milk drinks most days and want to brew and steam at the same time
  • Want to adjust brew temperature for different beans
  • Like the classic E61 workflow and its wide accessory support
  • Want a machine that looks good on an open bench
  • Have a standard 10 amp power point and about 47 cm of bench depth
✗ Consider alternatives if you:
  • Want flow profiling built in from day one; look at the Lelit Bianca V3
  • Are new to espresso and want to spend less; the Lelit Anna PL41 is the easier start
  • Need a near-silent rotary pump
  • Can't spare about 47 cm of bench depth or lift a 28 kg machine into place

Bellezza Francesca Coffee Machine — Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Bellezza Francesca need a special power point?

No. The Bellezza Francesca draws 2000 W and runs on a standard Australian 10 amp power point, so no electrician or dedicated circuit is needed.

Can I brew and steam at the same time on the Francesca?

Yes. The Francesca has separate 1.0 litre brew and steam boilers, so you can pull a shot and steam milk simultaneously.

How long does the Bellezza Francesca take to heat up?

Allow about 12 minutes for the group to reach your set brew temperature. The programmable ECO mode drops the machine into a low-power state at times you set, so you aren't heating water all day.

Is flow control available for the Francesca?

Flow control isn't fitted as standard, but Di Pacci offers it as an optional add-on kit when you order. You can also ask us about fitting it later.

Is the Francesca suitable for a beginner?

It suits a motivated beginner who wants room to grow, because the PID, timer and gauges make dialling in easier to learn. If you only want the occasional coffee, a simpler single boiler will cost less.

What grinder should I pair with the Bellezza Francesca?

Pair it with an espresso-capable grinder that adjusts finely, such as the Niche Zero, Eureka Mignon Specialita or Turin DF64. Our team can set up a package; call (02) 9758 0760.

Who services the Francesca in Australia?

Di Pacci's in-house service team handles warranty and out-of-warranty servicing, with parts kept in stock. Regular backflushing and descaling in line with your water hardness keeps the boilers healthy.
