The Encore ESP takes the reliability the standard Encore is known for and extends the range down into espresso territory. Forty distinct grind settings are split into two bands — numbers 1 to 20 for espresso, 21 to 40 for filter — so the same grinder covers both without compromising either end. The M2 steel conical burr set is built for consistency across that whole range, and the 550 rpm burr speed is set deliberately moderate to limit heat transfer into the coffee during grinding.

A quick-release mechanism lets you pull the burr set for cleaning without tools or outside help, which matters more on an espresso grinder than most other categories — burr cleanliness affects shot consistency more directly than on a coarser filter setup. A dedicated 54 mm anti-static dosing cup with a 58 mm adapter is included for transferring grounds cleanly into the portafilter.
