The Profitec Drive is the next generation successor to Profitec's acclaimed Pro 700 — a dual boiler home espresso machine handbuilt in Heidelberg, Germany, engineered for serious home baristas who demand precision, flexibility, and the kind of build quality that lasts a lifetime. Where the Pro 700 set the benchmark for German dual boiler construction, the Drive advances it with an integrated flow profile valve for variable flow rate control throughout extraction, an OLED display that shows brew time to the second and hosts a full suite of programmable parameters, and Fast Heat-Up Mode that brings the machine from cold to brew-ready in approximately 11 minutes. The E61 group head — heated via thermosiphon from the 0.75L stainless coffee boiler — delivers PID-regulated temperature stability within ±1°C from the first shot.

The Drive's 2.0L stainless steam boiler reaches 2 bar of steam pressure for fast, powerful milk texturing and can be switched off entirely when not needed — saving energy without affecting brew boiler performance. Joystick valves, large classic-style pressure gauges for both boiler and pump, programmable active and passive pre-infusion (1–10s pump / 1–60s pause), programmable on/off times, ECO mode, and maintenance reminders round out a feature set that rivals machines at twice the price. Available in stainless steel or matte black, with tank (2.8L) or plumbed water supply — switchable in the settings.
