Mahlkönig EK43 S Icon Edition Grinder

The Mahlkönig EK43 S Icon Edition is the compact EK43 with gold detailing: the same 98 mm burrs that made the EK43 the speciality standard.

The Mahlkönig EK43 S packs the grinding performance of the full-size EK43 into a smaller body: 98 mm cast steel flat burrs, a 1300 W motor and an average output of 19–21 g per second. It grinds for filter, espresso and Turkish fine, which is why roasters and speciality cafes use it as their reference grinder.

The Icon Edition adds golden accents on the dial knob, grind scale, feet, on/off button, numbered plate and Mahlkönig logo, and ships with a black 250 g bean hopper and a portafilter dosing cup. Each unit carries a numbered plate, and only a small number came to Australia.
