Description

Di Pacci — 2 Group Multi-Boiler T.C.I. Commercial Espresso Machine

BFC Rise Multi Boiler Coffee Machine

The BFC Rise gives each group its own small boiler, so every cup comes out at the temperature you set.

The BFC Rise is a handmade Italian multi-boiler 2 group espresso machine. An 11 L copper boiler handles steam and hot water, and BFC's T.C.I. system adds a 0.8 L boiler to each group, so brew temperature is controlled group by group. Doses are set on a programmable electronic keypad.

The groups are traditional temperature-compensated 4.4 kg groups, the heavy brass kind that hold heat well through a rush. The point of the T.C.I. boilers is that the final temperature in each cup doesn't drift when the steam boiler is working hard, which a single-boiler heat-exchanger machine can't promise.

Key Features of the BFC Rise

🌡️ T.C.I. group boilers

A 0.8 L boiler on each group controls brew temperature independently of the steam boiler.

🔥 11 L copper boiler

Dedicated to steam and hot water, so milk work doesn't pull brew temperature around.

⚙️ Heavy 4.4 kg groups

Traditional temperature-compensated brass groups hold heat steadily between shots.

🎛️ Programmable keypad

Store volumetric doses so staff get the same shot at the press of a button.

🇮🇹 Handmade in Italy

Built by BFC in Italy with classic, serviceable components.

What T.C.I. Does for the Cup

T.C.I. is BFC's independent temperature control. Instead of heating brew water only through the steam boiler, each group gets its own small boiler.

  • The 11 L boiler supplies steam and hot water.
  • Each group's 0.8 L boiler heats brew water to the temperature set for that group.
  • Brew temperature holds even when the steam side is under heavy load.

You get the steadiness of a multi-boiler machine with the familiar feel of traditional heavy groups.

BFC Rise vs BFC Aviator

Two BFC 2 group machines: the Rise adds a boiler per group; the Aviator relies on one larger heat-exchanger boiler.

Feature Rise 2 Group Aviator 2 Group
Main boiler 11 L copper 14 L copper
Group boilers 2 × 0.8 L (T.C.I.) None (heat exchanger)
Per-group temperature Yes No
Controls Programmable keypad Colour touch-screen
Size options 2 group 2 or 3 group

Di Pacci recommendation: Choose the Rise if brew temperature control matters most, especially for lighter roasts. Pick the BFC Aviator for a bigger boiler, a touch-screen or a 3 group. Don't bother with a multi-boiler at all if you serve one dark blend in milk; a heat exchanger does that job for less.

Best Grinders for the BFC Rise

Precise brew temperature is wasted without a consistent on-demand grinder.

Grinder Burrs Why it pairs well
Mahlkönig E65S 65 mm flat Fast on-demand dosing that keeps up with a 2 group bar
Fiorenzato F83 E Pro 83 mm flat Large burrs grind cool and quick for high-volume milk trade
Mazzer Kony S Electronic Conical Conical burrs give a fuller-bodied shot that carries through milk
