Di Pacci — Multi-Boiler Commercial Espresso Machine

Synesso MVP Commercial Coffee Machine

The Synesso MVP gives every group its own brew tank and heating element, so a busy specialty bar gets steady, independent group temperatures shot after shot.

The Synesso MVP is a 2 or 3 group commercial espresso machine built around separate 1.9 litre brew tanks, one per group, each with its own 700 W element. A large steam tank sits alongside: 7.7 litres on the 2 group and 12.3 litres on the 3 group, heated by twin elements for strong, continuous steam through a morning rush.

This is a hard-wired café machine, not a home espresso machine. The 2 group needs a 32 amp single-phase circuit and the 3 group a 40 amp single-phase or three-phase supply, so plan the electrical work with your electrician before delivery. In exchange you get a machine designed for repairability, with a separate lower side panel for service access and an interchangeable brew function on each group.

Key Features of the Synesso MVP

☕ A brew tank for every group

Each group has its own 1.9 litre brew tank and 700 W element, so a run of shots on one group does not pull temperature from the next.

💨 Big steam reserve

Twin 2000 W elements (2 group) or twin 2500 W elements (3 group) keep the steam tank recovering between jugs.

⏱️ Detailed timer display

A shot timer display on the machine helps baristas keep extraction times consistent through service.

🔁 Four magnet flow meters

Flow meters measure water through each group for accurate, repeatable volumes.

🎚️ Interchangeable brew function

Synesso offers the MVP brew function in different configurations, so the machine can be set up to suit how your team works.

🛠️ Built to be serviced

A separate lower side panel gives technicians quick access, which shortens downtime when maintenance is due.

Why Separate Brew Tanks Matter at Volume

On a single-boiler commercial machine every group draws on the same hot water. The MVP splits the job: each group has its own small brew tank and element, while one large tank handles steam.

  • Pull back-to-back shots on one group without dragging down the temperature at the group beside it.
  • Each small brew tank recovers on its own, so the machine stays steady when every group is working at once.
  • The steam tank is sized and heated separately, so heavy milk work does not interfere with brewing.

The result is a machine that holds its espresso consistent through a long, busy service, which is what specialty cafés buy a Synesso for.

Synesso MVP vs MVP Hydra

Both share the same body, tank sizes and electrical requirements. The Hydra adds hardware for pressure profiling.

Feature MVP MVP Hydra
Brew tanks 1.9 L per group 1.9 L per group
Steam tank (2 group) 7.7 L 7.7 L
Individual pump per group Not listed by Synesso Yes, with its own motor
Pressure profiling No Four-stage pressure ramping
2 group power 32 A single phase 32 A single phase

Di Pacci recommendation: Choose the MVP if you want Synesso temperature stability and build quality with a straightforward workflow. Don't bother with it if your baristas want to profile pressure through the shot; that is what the Synesso MVP Hydra is built for.

Synesso MVP Coffee Machine — Frequently Asked Questions

What power does the Synesso MVP need?

The 2 group needs a 240 V single-phase, 32 amp supply. The 3 group needs 40 amps single phase or 13 amps per phase on three phase. Both are hard-wired, so a licensed electrician must install the circuit.

Is the Synesso MVP suitable for home use?

No. The Synesso MVP is a commercial machine that needs a dedicated high-current circuit, a mains water connection and a drain. For home, look at a dual-boiler machine such as the Lelit Bianca V3.

How big are the Synesso MVP tanks?

Each group has its own 1.9 litre brew tank. The steam tank is 7.7 litres on the 2 group and 12.3 litres on the 3 group.

What is the difference between the Synesso MVP and MVP Hydra?

They share tank sizes, dimensions and power needs. The Hydra adds an individual pump and motor per group with four-stage pressure ramping for pressure profiling.

How much bench space does the Synesso MVP need?

The 2 group is 762 mm wide and the 3 group 1042 mm wide, both 610 mm deep and 534 mm high. Allow extra space for grinders and service access.

Do I need water filtration?

Yes. Filtered water protects the tanks and elements from scale, and Synesso offers an RO water filtration system as an option. Contact us and we can recommend a filter for your water.

Does Di Pacci install the Synesso MVP?

Yes. Installation is quoted on request, and our in-house technicians service the machine after installation.
