How is the 500g packaged?

Your order ships as 2 × 250g bags rather than one 500g bag. That lets you open one and keep the second sealed, which helps the beans stay fresher for longer — handy for a larger size you'll work through over a few weeks.

Is Sydney Road a strong coffee?

Sydney Road is a light roast built around sweetness and balance rather than sheer intensity. It has a full, resonating body with caramel and chocolate richness and a floral aroma, finishing long and fine — characterful and aromatic without the heaviness of a dark roast.

Can I get the beans pre-ground?

Yes. Sydney Road ships as whole beans by default, with espresso, plunger and filter grinds available as a special request at checkout. For the freshest cup we recommend whole beans and grinding to order.

What's the best way to brew Sydney Road?

It makes a sweet, aromatic espresso. A good baseline on a standard machine is a 21g basket, 22g dose in, 40ml out, in around 30 seconds — then adjust to taste. The light roast also works beautifully in a plunger or filter, where its floral and caramel notes really open up.
