Batch Brew Dispensing — Ex-Demo

Six Simple Machines Freepour Batch Double — Two-Tap Undercounter System

A two-tap undercounter batch-brew dispensing system that puts filter coffee on tap at the counter, so filter customers pour their own and never join the espresso queue — offered here as an ex-demo unit.

Batch brew is how busy cafés serve filter at volume, and the Freepour Batch Double is built to get it out from behind the bar and onto the counter. Two taps sit flush in the benchtop, fed from thermal airpots below, and customers pour their own with a wave of the hand. It frees your baristas to keep making espresso while filter drinkers serve themselves — the kind of workflow that keeps a morning rush moving.

How the Freepour Batch works

Six Simple Machines designs and manufactures the Freepour range in Botany, Australia. It's a considered piece of equipment aimed at the practical problem of serving batch filter cleanly and quickly.

Two taps, self-serve

Two batch brews sit on tap at the counter so filter customers pour their own. That takes filter service off your baristas entirely and keeps the espresso queue moving during peak.

Hands-free pouring

Infrared sensors let customers pour without touching the unit — cleaner, more hygienic, and quicker than a manual tap. Reversible digital screens can be read from either side of the counter.

Magnetic airpot coupling

A magnetic quick-connect coupling links to thermal airpots below the bench, so swapping an empty airpot for a full one is a fast, clean changeover with no fiddly connections.

Flexible airpot range

It ships with two 2.5-litre Zojirushi thermal airpots and supports airpots from 2.2 to 7.5 litres, so you can scale the volume held on tap to how much filter you sell.

What "ex-demo" means here

This unit was used for demonstration only and is described as as-new — it was never sold into retail service. Like any ex-demo equipment it may show minimal signs of handling, and it is priced below a new unit accordingly. We recommend confirming the exact condition and the cover that applies with our team, and reviewing the returns and warranty policy before ordering, as terms on ex-demo equipment differ from new stock.

Who it suits

  • Busy cafés and roasteries serving batch filter alongside espresso
  • Venues wanting a self-serve filter station that frees up baristas
  • Offices, event spaces and catering setups pouring volume filter
  • Operators who want batch brew on the counter rather than behind the bar

Getting the best out of it

Batch brew rewards fresh coffee and a clean system, so brew to your batch machine's recipe, keep airpots rotating rather than sitting long, and rinse the taps and sensors down as part of your daily clean. Fresh, filter-friendly beans from our coffee beans selection make the most of a self-serve station.

The Freepour pairs with a batch brewer and your espresso setup — you can see the machines that sit alongside it in commercial coffee machines.

Ordering

Freight is calculated at checkout. To confirm availability, condition and bench requirements, get in touch or take a look at our finance options. This is a one-off ex-demo unit.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Freepour Batch actually do?
