The dual-boiler, PID-controlled evolution of the legendary Silvia — the Rancilio Silvia Pro X pairs a commercial 58mm group head with two boilers and precise temperature control, so you can brew and steam at the same time with real accuracy, all in a compact 25cm-wide body.

Built with the durability of Rancilio's commercial machines but designed for the home, the Silvia Pro X brings genuine barista control to your kitchen. Its dual boilers let you pull espresso and steam milk simultaneously, while PID temperature control with a shot timer and Variable Soft-Infusion give you the tools to dial in every shot. A digital display, programmable wake-up and an articulating professional steam wand round out a serious enthusiast machine.

Quick setup

  • Unpack all components, including the machine, portafilter, filter baskets and drip tray
  • Place it on a level surface with good ventilation, near a power outlet
  • Fill the removable water tank with fresh, cold water and seat it securely
  • Plug into a grounded power outlet and switch on
  • Let it pre-heat for at least 20 minutes to stabilise brewing temperature
  • Insert the portafilter and run hot water through to preheat it
  • Grind fresh beans finely and fill the portafilter evenly, then tamp level and firm
  • Lock in the portafilter and start brewing, adjusting temperature via the PID if needed
