Rancilio Silvia Pro X Espresso Machine

The Rancilio Silvia Pro X takes the much-loved Silvia and adds a genuine dual-boiler system with dual PID, so you can brew and steam at the same time with precise, independent temperature control.

It runs two boilers, a 1.0 litre steam boiler and a 0.3 litre brew boiler, each with its own PID adjustable to a fraction of a degree, so milk steaming never interrupts extraction. The 58 millimetre commercial brass group gives strong thermal stability and the machine offers adjustable low-pressure pre-infusion.

A vibration pump, a 2.0 litre removable tank and Rancilio's professional articulating steam wand round out a machine that brings commercial-derived build quality into the home. Rancilio has made espresso equipment in Italy since 1927.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Silvia Pro X need a 15 amp plug?

No. It draws around 1300W at 230-240V, so it runs on a standard 10 amp power point.

Is it a dual-boiler machine?

Yes. It has a 1.0 litre steam boiler and a 0.3 litre brew boiler, each PID-controlled, so you can brew and steam at the same time.

Does it have a rotary pump?

No. The Silvia Pro X uses a vibration pump with a 2.0 litre removable water tank.

Where is it made?

It is made in Italy by Rancilio, which has built espresso equipment since 1927.

What portafilter size does it use?

It takes a 58 millimetre commercial portafilter, so accessories are easy to source.

Can I adjust the temperature?

Yes. Both boilers have independent PID control adjustable to a fraction of a degree, and pre-infusion is adjustable too.
