Two versions, same price: Style E automatically switches off after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy and protect the element (it stays warm, so it only needs a minute or two to return to temperature). Style M stays on until you switch it off manually. Choose from black, stainless, white or sage green.

Does the Silvia V6 have a PID?

No — the Silvia V6 doesn't have a PID or pre-infusion. It's a classic single-boiler machine with a commercial group head and a 15 bar pump calibrated to 9–10 bar. If you'd like PID temperature control and dual boilers, take a look at the Rancilio Silvia Pro X.

What's the difference between Style E and Style M?

Style E automatically switches off after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy and protect the element (it stays warm, so it only needs a minute or two to return to temperature). Style M stays on until you switch it off manually. Both are the same price.

Is the Silvia good for milk drinks?

Yes. Its articulating stainless steam wand is powerful enough to texture café-quality microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos.
