Pre-Loved Semi-Commercial Espresso

Faema E98 Compact S1 — Semi-Commercial Espresso Machine

A pre-loved Faema E98 Compact S1 single-group — compact Italian build with a heat exchanger, steam wand and hot-water outlet, tank-fed on a standard 10-amp plug. Fully checked and tested, ready to pour.

The Faema E98 Compact S1 brings Italian commercial heritage into a compact, single-group machine. It uses a heat-exchanger boiler for brewing and steaming together, with a steam wand and a hot-water outlet, and runs tank-fed on a standard 10-amp plug — no mains water connection required. Clean and in working order, it has been fully checked and tested by our qualified technicians, ready to pour.

Why the E98 Compact suits smaller sites

Not every site can plumb in a machine, and that is where the E98 Compact shines. Tank-fed and on a standard 10-amp plug, it drops into an office, a small café or a home kitchen with no special install. The heat exchanger lets you brew and steam at once, and the Faema name brings genuine Italian commercial pedigree in a compact footprint.

Tank-fed, 10-amp

No mains water needed — fill the tank and plug into a standard outlet.

Heat exchanger

Brew and steam at the same time — no waiting between shots and milk.

Compact Italian build

Genuine Faema pedigree in a small, easy-to-place footprint.

Steam and hot water

A steam wand and hot-water outlet for milk drinks, tea and Americanos.

Condition and servicing

This Faema E98 Compact is pre-loved, clean and in working order. Before it ships it has been fully checked and tested by our qualified technicians, so it arrives ready to pour. It is offered as a second-hand unit rather than sealed new stock, so we recommend reading the returns and warranty policy for the cover that applies before ordering.

Who it suits

  • Offices and small cafés without mains plumbing
  • Home baristas wanting Italian commercial pedigree
  • Sites that need a compact, easy-to-place machine
  • Buyers after a Faema E98 Compact without the price of new

Frequently asked questions

Does it need to be plumbed in?

No. The E98 Compact is tank-fed, so you simply fill the water tank — no mains water connection required, and it runs on a standard 10-amp plug.

What is a heat exchanger?

A heat exchanger lets the machine brew and steam at the same time, so you do not have to wait between pulling a shot and texturing milk.

Who is a single-group machine best for?

Offices, small cafés and home baristas where space is tight and volume is steady — it delivers Italian pedigree in a compact footprint.

What condition is it in?

Pre-loved, clean and in working order. It has been fully checked and tested by our qualified technicians before shipping, so it arrives ready to pour.

Can it make hot water and steam milk?

Yes. It has a steam wand for texturing milk and a hot-water outlet for tea and Americanos.

What cover applies to a second-hand machine?

Cover on second-hand equipment can differ from cover on sealed new stock. Please read our returns and warranty policy page for the terms that apply to this unit before placing your order.
