Getting the best out of it

Flow control rewards experimentation — ease pressure in gently at the start, build through the shot and taper the finish, tasting as you go. Give the dual boilers a full warm-up and flush the E61 group before the first shot.

Pair it with a capable grinder from our coffee grinders for home range and fresh coffee beans, and treat your water to protect the boilers.

Flow control opens up a lot of room to experiment, so keep notes as you go — a gentle pre-infusion and a slow ramp suit lighter roasts, while a steadier pull suits darker ones. Fit filtration suited to your local supply to keep the boilers and E61 group scale-free, and the machine will stay a reference-level setup for years.
