Specifications

Because the blend is chosen at the time of packing, we can't list a fixed roast level, origin or tasting note here — those depend on which of our current blends you receive. If you'd rather choose exactly what you're getting, our full range is listed on the coffee beans collection, or the sample pack lets you taste several blends at once without leaving anything to chance.

Good to know: if you have a strong dislike of a particular roast level (for example, if you specifically don't want a dark roast), the Mystery Blend may not be the right choice — pick a named blend from our range instead so you know exactly what's coming.

Getting the best out of it

Whichever blend you receive, freshness and grind still make the biggest difference to the cup — a decent home coffee grinder is worth the investment regardless of which bag turns up. It'll run fine on any of our home coffee machines. If you enjoy what you're sent and want to reorder the same blend specifically next time, our full coffee beans range lists every blend by name.
