Why consider the M7D

Digital dosing, three programmable doses and a touch on touch off design make it easy to run through a busy service.

Digital dosing

The listing says the blue backlit LCD display makes the grinder user friendly and gives the barista control of all its functions.

Three doses

The listing says you can digitally adjust each dose, with the option of three different doses.

Touch on, touch off

The listing describes a touch on touch off design to move from a single to a double to a triple dose without pressing a button by hand.

Conical burrs, lower speed

The listing says the 68mm conical blades and reduced rotation speed are paired with instant grinding solutions for precious coffee blends.

What to check before you buy a new grinder

A new grinder is a long-term purchase, so it pays to match it to how you brew before you order the Macap M7D. Think about how many coffees you make each day, whether you grind for espresso, filter or both, and whether you want to dose by time, by weight or by hand. Ask us if you want to compare it with similar models.

Also check that the grinder suits your bench and your power point, and think about where you will put the hopper and the catch area. Confirm dimensions with us and measure the space before you commit.

Getting the best from your grinder

A grinder is only as good as the way you use it. With the Macap M7D, keep the burrs and chute clean, use fresh beans, and adjust the grind a little at a time. Weigh your dose and your output so that you can see what each change does, and write down the setting that works for each coffee.

If you are matching it with a machine, our team can help you pair it with something suited to your volume. Call us and tell us how many coffees you make in a day.

Who it suits

  • Busy cafes that want digital dosing
  • Baristas who serve single, double and triple doses
  • Venues that value hands free operation
  • Buyers who want a black or chrome grinder
