Prosumer Espresso — Limited Edition

Lelit Bianca 40th Anniversary — Dual Boiler, Flow Control, 2026

The Lelit Bianca dual-boiler flow-control machine in a numbered 40th-anniversary edition — 1986 units worldwide, each serial micro-punched into the steel, finished in polished stainless with Zebrano wood in place of the standard walnut.

The Bianca is one of the most sought-after prosumer machines made, and this edition marks four decades of Lelit with a run that is made once and never repeated. Mechanically it's the acclaimed Bianca V3 — dual boilers, an E61 group with a manual flow-control paddle, dual PID and a silent rotary pump that runs from the tank or plumbed in. What sets this edition apart is the finish and the numbering: 1986 machines, each carrying its own serial punched into the steel beneath commissioned Italian artwork, dressed in Zebrano wood and polished AISI 304.

  • Dual Boiler
  • E61 Flow Control
  • Dual PID
  • Rotary Pump
  • Numbered 1986 Units

Why the Bianca is chased the way it is

The Bianca earned its reputation on control — it was one of the machines that brought flow profiling and true dual-boiler stability into a home-sized body. This edition keeps all of that and adds a collector's finish.

Manual flow control

The E61 group carries a manual paddle — here in Zebrano wood — that lets you vary water flow through the shot by hand, from a slow pre-infusion to a controlled taper. It's hands-on pressure profiling without electronics getting in the way.

Dual boilers, dual PID

Independent stainless boilers — 800ml for coffee, 1.5L for steam — are each held by PID to within ±0.5°C. Brew temperature never wavers with steam demand, giving the shot-to-shot stability the platform is known for.

Tank or plumbed rotary

A silent commercial-grade rotary pump runs from the 2.5L removable tank or plumbs into a water line — the accessories are included — so you can set it up either way and change later.

A numbered collector's edition

Production is capped at 1986 units worldwide, serials 0001–1986 micro-punched directly into the steel beneath commissioned Italian artwork, with Zebrano wood detailing and a polished AISI 304 finish — details unique to this anniversary run.

Who it suits

  • Serious home baristas who want dual-boiler control and manual flow profiling
  • Enthusiasts and collectors drawn to a numbered, one-time edition
  • Buyers who want the acclaimed Bianca V3 in a distinctive finish
  • Anyone after a machine that can start tank-fed and plumb in later

Setup note: the Bianca runs from its 2.5L tank on a standard 10-amp power point, or plumbs into a water line with the included accessories. Either way, use filtered or treated water and keep to a descaling routine — clean water is what keeps dual boilers and the E61 group reliable.

Getting the best out of it

Flow control and dual PID reward good fundamentals, so pair the Bianca with a grinder that holds its setting shot to shot — it will expose an inconsistent grind rather than hide it. See our coffee grinders for home range, and dial it in with fresh beans from our coffee beans selection.

As a numbered edition, each machine is a one-off once its serial is gone — this run is not repeated. You can see the rest of the range in coffee machines for home.

Frequently asked questions

What makes this the 40th Anniversary edition?

Production is capped at 1986 units worldwide, each individually serial-numbered from 0001 to 1986 and micro-punched into the steel beneath commissioned Italian artwork. It's finished in polished AISI 304 stainless with Zebrano wood detailing in place of the standard walnut — a one-time run marking four decades of Lelit.

Is it mechanically different from a standard Bianca?

No. Mechanically it's the acclaimed Bianca V3 (PL162T spec) — dual boilers, E61 flow control, dual PID and a silent rotary pump. The anniversary edition changes the finish, the wood and the numbering, not the internals.

What does the flow-control paddle do?

The E61 paddle lets you vary water flow through the shot by hand — a slow pre-infusion, a peak, then a controlled taper. It's manual pressure profiling, one of the reasons the Bianca is so sought after by enthusiasts.

Can it be plumbed in?

Yes. It runs from a 2.5L removable tank or plumbs into a water line, and the plumb-in accessories are included, so you can start tank-fed and convert later. Use treated water to protect both boilers whichever way you run it.

How stable is the brew temperature?

Very. Independent stainless boilers for coffee and steam are each held by PID to within ±0.5°C, so brew temperature isn't dragged around by steam demand — the basis of the Bianca's shot-to-shot consistency.
