La Pavoni Mini Cellini Espresso Machine

The La Pavoni Mini Cellini brings the classic E61 group into a compact, hand-assembled stainless steel body. It is a semi-automatic, vibration-pump machine built for smaller kitchens that still want proper espresso.

It runs a 0.8 litre stainless steel single boiler and the commercial E61 group head, which circulates water continuously for stable temperature and gives mechanical pre-infusion. A vibration pump drives extraction to around 15 bar, and the paddle switches the pump on and off, so brewing is simple and repeatable.

As a single-boiler machine, it brews and steams one at a time, with a short wait to switch between the two. The 2.9 litre removable tank, cool-touch steam wand and passive cup warmer round out a tidy, Italian-made package that takes a 58 millimetre portafilter.

E61 Group Head

The classic commercial E61 group circulates water continuously for stable temperature and natural pre-infusion.

Vibration Pump

A vibration pump drives extraction to around 15 bar; the paddle simply switches the pump on and off.

Compact Stainless Body

Hand-assembled stainless steel in a small footprint built for tighter kitchens.

Single Boiler

A 0.8 L stainless boiler brews and steams one at a time, with a brief wait to switch.

Spec note: the Mini Cellini is a semi-automatic vibration-pump machine with an E61 group — the paddle switches the pump on and off and does not generate pressure by hand, so it is not a manual lever machine. It uses a single 0.8 L boiler (not a heat exchanger). This page has been corrected.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Mini Cellini a manual lever machine?

No. It is a semi-automatic machine with a vibration pump. The paddle switches the pump on and off; it does not generate pressure by hand like a true lever machine.

Is it a heat-exchange machine?

No. It uses a single 0.8 litre stainless steel boiler, so it brews and steams one at a time, with a short wait to switch between the two.

What group head does it use?

It uses the commercial E61 group, which circulates water continuously for stable temperature and natural pre-infusion.

Does it need special power?

No. It draws around 1400W at 220-240V and runs on a standard 10 amp Australian power point.

What portafilter size is it?

It takes a 58 millimetre portafilter, the commercial standard, so accessories are easy to find.

Where is it made?

The Mini Cellini is made in Italy by La Pavoni.
