Description

Di Pacci — Dual Fuel LPG / Electric 2 Group Commercial Espresso Machine

Fracino Diablo Dual Fuel 2 Group Coffee Machine

The Diablo Dual Fuel heats its boiler on LPG, electricity or both, so a mobile coffee van or remote site can run a full 2 group machine without a big power supply.

The Fracino Diablo Dual Fuel 2 Group is an electronic 2 group espresso machine in a matt black finish that can heat its boiler with LPG, electricity or both together. The LPG burner is rated as equivalent to about 4 kW of electrical power, with electronic ignition, a flame-failure device and a gas pressure valve with low-flame adjustment. The electric element is 2000 W as standard, with a 4000 W element available as a no-charge upgrade.

Running on gas with the element isolated, the machine draws about 350 W for its pump and electronics, which a 240 V generator or 12 V inverter can supply. That's what makes it the go-to for coffee vans, markets and events. It shares its specification with Fracino's Contempo Dual Fuel 2 Group Electronic, adds barista lights, a hot water mixer button and flip-down espresso trays, and is supplied with Australian gas certification.

How Dual Fuel Works in a Coffee Van

A standard 2 group machine needs a large electrical supply to heat its boiler. The Diablo lets LPG do that job instead.

  • The LPG burner heats the boiler, controlled by a gas pressure valve with low-flame adjustment to hold steam pressure.
  • With the element isolated, the only electrical load is the pump and electronics, about 350 W.
  • When mains power is available, the electric element can run alone or alongside the gas for faster recovery.

The result is full 2 group output from a gas bottle and a modest generator or inverter, which is why dual fuel machines are a staple of Australian coffee vans.

Who This Machine Is For
