Why consider the Steel Duo PID

Dual thermoblock heating and PID control suit a serious home barista or a small commercial setup wanting stable temperature without a large footprint.

Choosing a pre-owned machine

A pre-owned semi-commercial machine such as the Steel Duo PID suits people who know what they want. Ask us for current photos and for any detail not shown on this page, such as boiler size or power draw, and compare it with the new machines in our range so you can judge the value.

Think about how you will use it day to day. A machine that suits one person every morning is different from one that serves a household of coffee drinkers, so be clear on what you need.

Planning your setup

Good coffee from the Steel Duo PID depends on the whole setup, not only the machine. Plan for a quality grinder, fresh beans, filtered water and a regular cleaning routine. Decide where the machine will sit, check the power point, and make sure you can reach the water reservoir or connection easily.

If you are not sure which grinder or accessories to choose, call us and tell us how many coffees you make a day. We will help you plan a setup that suits you.

Who it suits

• Serious home baristas
• Small commercial setups
• Buyers who want a compact footprint
• Buyers who want a known brand for less than new
