Why consider the Bellona

A dual boiler system with PID control and programmable dosing suits a home barista who wants cafe-style consistency without a commercial price.

Choosing a pre-owned machine

A pre-owned semi-commercial machine such as the Bellona suits people who know what they want. Ask us for current photos and for any detail not shown on this page, such as boiler size or power draw, and compare it with the new machines in our range so you can judge the value.

Think about how you will use it day to day. A machine that suits one person every morning is different from one that serves a household of coffee drinkers, so be clear on what you need.

Planning your setup

Good coffee from the Bellona depends on the whole setup, not only the machine. Plan for a quality grinder, fresh beans, filtered water and a regular cleaning routine. Decide where the machine will sit, check the power point, and make sure you can reach the water reservoir or connection easily.

If you are not sure which grinder or accessories to choose, call us and tell us how many coffees you make a day. We will help you plan a setup that suits you.

Who it suits

• Home baristas wanting dual boiler control
• Households that want consistent volumetric dosing
• Buyers upgrading from an entry machine
• Buyers who want a semi-commercial feel at home

Getting the best out of it

Pair this machine with fresh coffee beans and, if it does not include one, a burr grinder set up for espresso. Keep the group clean, descale on a schedule and use filtered water where you can.
