Freshness & storage: beans are roasted to order, so they arrive fresh. Keep them in an airtight container away from heat, light and moisture, and grind just before brewing for the best flavour. Whole beans hold their character far longer than pre-ground coffee.

Getting the best out of it

Grind fresh for every brew — a consistent grinder makes more difference to the cup than almost anything else, so if you are still using pre-ground, a home grinder from our coffee grinders for home range is the single best upgrade you can make. Dial finer for espresso and coarser for plunger or filter.

Use fresh, filtered water and keep your machine and basket clean so each blend tastes the way it should. Once you have found your favourite, you can order it on its own from the full coffee beans range.

What's included in the sample pack?

Is it good value compared with buying bags separately?

Yes. The sample pack is priced as a set, so it works out well against buying four 250g bags individually, and it lets you taste the whole range before deciding which blend to reorder in a larger size.

Can I choose grind instead of whole bean?

The bags are whole bean by default, with espresso, plunger and filter grinds available by special request when you order. For the freshest cup we recommend whole bean and grinding just before brewing.

Which blend should I try first?

Work from light to dark: start with By The Bay or Sydney Road, move to the medium Elements, then finish with the dark After Dark. Tasting them in that order makes the differences between the roasts easiest to pick.

Where are the beans roasted?

Di Pacci roasts its own coffee to order in Sydney. Orders are delivered NZ-wide, with shipping calculated at checkout.
