Why a spread across the roast spectrum

Rather than four similar blends, this pack is put together to give you a genuine feel for how much roast level and origin change the cup — By The Bay and Sydney Road sit at the lighter, brighter end, Elements sits in the middle with a rounded, floral character, and After Dark anchors the bold end of the spectrum. Tasting them close together, over the same week or two, makes the differences much clearer than trying one blend now and another months later.

Getting the best out of it

Work through the pack over a couple of weeks so each bag stays reasonably fresh, and keep unopened bags sealed until you're ready for them. A decent home coffee grinder makes the comparison fairer, since a consistent grind lets you judge the blends on flavour rather than inconsistent extraction — all four work well on any of our home coffee machines. Once you've found your favourite, each blend is available individually in 250g, 500g and 1kg formats, and it's worth checking our current coffee deals when you're ready to buy in bulk.
