Di Pacci — In-Tank Water Filter Cartridge

Crem One Water Filter Cartridge E02000

The Crem One water filter cartridge (part E02000) is the in-tank filter made for the Crem One espresso machine, and it's the cheapest protection your boiler will ever get.

Hard tap water leaves limescale in the boiler, valves and flowmeter of every espresso machine, and chlorine takes the edge off the taste in the cup. This cartridge sits inside the Crem One's water tank and treats the water before it ever reaches the pump, cutting scale build-up and filtering out chlorine and odours.

It's the same in-tank cartridge format the machine is designed around, so there's nothing to plumb and nothing to adjust. Swap it out on schedule and the machine runs cleaner between services, holds more stable brew temperature, and pours better-tasting espresso.

Why Water Treatment Matters

Many espresso machine repairs that aren't wear-and-tear trace back to water. Minerals in tap water drop out as scale whenever water is heated, and an espresso machine heats water all day.

  • Scale insulates the element, so the boiler works harder and temperature becomes less stable shot to shot.
  • Scale blocks small passages in solenoid valves and the flowmeter, which is where many service call-outs begin.
  • Chlorine and odours carry into the cup, flattening sweetness and aroma no matter how good the beans are.

An in-tank filter won't replace descaling or backflushing, but it slows scale down at the source, which stretches the time between services and keeps the machine tasting the way it should.

Crem One Water Filter — Frequently Asked Questions

Will the E02000 filter fit my Crem One?

Yes. The E02000 is the in-tank water filter cartridge made for the Crem One, which is also sold as the Expobar Crem One and Crem One PID. It sits inside the machine's water tank in place of the original cartridge.

Does it fit other Crem or Expobar machines?

Only fit it to a machine whose manual or parts list calls for part number E02000. Tank designs differ between models, so if your machine isn't a Crem One, send us the model and we'll confirm before you order.

How often should I replace it?

Follow the replacement interval in your Crem One manual, and replace it sooner if your water is hard or the machine gets heavy daily use. A filter that has run past its capacity stops protecting the boiler, so it's worth noting the install date.

Can I fit it myself?

Yes. It's a no-tools job: empty the tank, remove the old cartridge, rinse the new one as your manual directs, and push it into place. No plumbing or technician visit is needed.
