Why consider the On Demand

On-demand grinding keeps coffee fresh and cuts waste, and a pre-owned unit costs less than new.

What to check when buying a pre-owned grinder

A pre-owned grinder can be good value, but burrs wear with use, so ask the right questions before you order the On Demand. Ask us for current photos, ask what work has been done on it, and ask about the condition of the burrs. A grinder with fresh burrs will perform differently from one near the end of their life.

Also check that the grinder suits your bench and your power point, and think about where you will put the hopper and the catch area. Confirm dimensions with us and measure the space before you commit.

Getting the best from your grinder

A grinder is only as good as the way you use it. With the On Demand, keep the burrs and chute clean, use fresh beans, and adjust the grind a little at a time. Weigh your dose and your output so that you can see what each change does, and write down the setting that works for each coffee.

If you are matching it with a machine, our team can help you pair it with something suited to your volume. Call us and tell us how many coffees you make in a day.
