Why consider the EK43 Tall

A new commercial grinder from a respected line, in black, suits a venue that wants a long-term workhorse on the bench.

What to check before you buy a new grinder

A new grinder is a long-term purchase, so it pays to match it to how you brew before you order the Mahlkonig EK43 Tall. Think about how many coffees you make each day, whether you grind for espresso, filter or both, and whether you want to dose by time, by weight or by hand. Ask us if you want to compare it with similar models.

Also check that the grinder suits your bench and your power point, and think about where you will put the hopper and the catch area. Confirm dimensions with us and measure the space before you commit.

Getting the best from your grinder

A grinder is only as good as the way you use it. With the Mahlkonig EK43 Tall, keep the burrs and chute clean, use fresh beans, and adjust the grind a little at a time. Weigh your dose and your output so that you can see what each change does, and write down the setting that works for each coffee.

If you are matching it with a machine, our team can help you pair it with something suited to your volume. Call us and tell us how many coffees you make in a day.

Who it suits

• Cafes and coffee shops that want a new commercial grinder
• Roasteries and tasting rooms that grind for several coffees
• Venues that already know the EK43 and want a black Tall unit
