Pre-Owned Commercial Espresso

Kees van der Westen Spirit — Triplet, 3 Group

A pre-owned triplet Kees van der Westen Spirit, the Dutch maker's flagship lever-influenced commercial platform in its largest 3 group configuration, lightly used and workshop checked.

Kees van der Westen is a boutique Dutch manufacturer known for hand-built commercial espresso machines with a devoted following among specialty roasters and high-end cafes. This Spirit triplet is a 3 group unit that was gently used for just over a year before coming to us, and has been through our workshop prior to this listing.

  • Triplet / 3 Group
  • Hand-Built
  • Pre-Owned
  • Lightly Used
  • 60-Point Safety Check

Why the Spirit platform has a following

Boutique build quality

Kees van der Westen machines are built in small runs with a level of finishing and attention most mass-market brands don't attempt.

High-volume capacity

A triplet configuration is the largest Spirit layout, built to handle genuinely busy, high-throughput commercial service.

Specialty-roaster favourite

The Spirit range has a strong reputation among specialty coffee roasters and flagship cafes that put extraction quality front and centre.

Lightly used history

This particular unit saw just over a year of use before coming to us, a relatively light service history for a commercial machine.

Thoroughly Tested

Each unit has undergone a rigorous 60-point safety check and has been fully serviced by our on-site technicians, ensuring that it is in perfect working condition.

What to check when buying pre-owned

Ask for current photos of the actual unit and a summary of the servicing carried out before it was listed. Confirm your premises can supply the correct water and electrical connections for a 3 group commercial machine, and plan ahead for moving and positioning a unit of this size and weight.

Planning your setup

A machine at this level deserves a grinder that can hold pace with three groups in continuous service, fresh beans, and properly filtered water from day one. Keep to a simple daily cleaning routine to protect the investment.

Who it suits

  • Specialty cafes and roastery bars wanting boutique-level build quality
  • High-volume venues needing genuine 3 group throughput
  • Operators who want a distinctive, hand-built machine rather than a mass-market platform
