Acaia's first coffee grinder, built single-dose from the ground up with an automatic purge to reduce retention, and an optional grind-by-weight mode when paired with an Acaia Lunar scale.

The Orbit is designed around the same precision Acaia is known for in scales, applied to grinding. It runs on 64 mm Mazzer 33M burrs as standard, with SSP Multipurpose burrs available as an alternative — both suited to espresso and filter brewing. Stepless adjustment through a 0.75 mm thread pitch gives fine control across the range, and every unit goes through individual measurement during quality control, with burr mounting surfaces held to 10-micron flatness and the motor drive shaft to 20-micron concentricity.

What sets the Orbit apart is the companion app. It handles RPM adjustment between 600 and 1,500, lets you save separate profiles for grind-by-time or grind-by-weight, and switches easily between the two modes.
