The MACAP CPS (Constant Pressure System) automatic espresso tamper is an innovation for streamlining espresso production. It helps to ensure all users will have the same tamp pressure. This tamper applies uniform and level pressure to the ground espresso in a group handle using a lever. I purchased the machine from Dipacci in Melb on Saturday. One of the most stress free purchases I have made. Greeted in the store with an espresso. Knowledgeable staff.Friendly. Great range of machines. This machine is perfect for me at home. It is powerful, and makes a great coffee (Barista skills notwithstanding) My only criticism of the machine is that the water tank is a little small and because of the water softener filter only uses about half capacity before requiring a top up.
