The olive wood cafe press from Hario is an impressive and classic way to create the ultimate French-press coffee. The French-press method is convenient because no paper filters are needed. And it's quick, because the coffee grounds only need to be immersed for an average of 3 minutes before plunging for a deep, full-flavoured coffee; ideal for single origins. This press serves 400ml (3 cups).
The glass carafe holds 600ml (400ml practical capacity) and is constructed of heat-proof borosilicate glassware and utilises a stainless steel metal plunger.

Because it's important to maintain the integrity of the olive wood look and feel, it is recommended to use a soft sponge and mild dish detergetnt for cleaning.
